On May 9, 2026, the Chuckanut Bay Rugby Club will host its 52nd Annual Dinner Auction at the Pioneer Pavilion Community Center. The event, themed "A Night Under the Stars," serves as the primary fundraiser to support the club’s mission of developing youth and adult athletes throughout Northwest Washington.

This year’s gala promises a fusion of world-class sport and local culinary excellence. Attendees will enjoy a custom dining experience provided by the legendary Paellaworks. Known for their vibrant, open-fire cooking, Paellaworks will bring their massive, steaming pans to the Pavilion, offering a visual and culinary spectacle that perfectly aligns with the evening's celestial theme.

The highlight of the live auction is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for sports fans: Two tickets to the Women’s Rugby Semifinals at the LA 2028 Olympic Games. As rugby continues to explode in popularity across the U.S., this item offers a chance to witness the pinnacle of the sport on the world’s biggest stage.

“Rugby is about more than what happens on the pitch, it’s about character, respect, and community,” says Chuckanut President, Kellen Wiggins. “This evening is about ‘Raising Rugby’—ensuring we can provide scholarships for youth players, maintain our premier fields at the deWilde Rugby & Polo Fields, and progress our Phase 4 facility improvements to serve the 200+ athletes who call this club home.”

The evening will feature keynote speaker Abbi Triou, the club’s High School Girls Head Coach, who will share how the sport inspires local youth to lead with integrity and passion.

• Where: Pioneer Pavilion Community Center, 2007 Cherry St, Ferndale, WA
• Tickets: $50 (Includes dinner and 2 drink tickets). Youth tickets (12 & under) are $35.
• Purpose: Benefits player scholarships, field operations, and Phase 4 bathroom and shower facility builds.
